Bononia Estate Winery and Resort

Bononia Estate is a family-owned winery with 160 varieties of its own vineyards, located along the banks of the Danube River in Northwestern Bulgaria. Its story is like a journey through the centuries, as it inherits and unites traditions spanning three centuries. On the site of the winery, the family spent six years restoring and preserving an original building from 1895, which was one of the first breweries in Bulgaria and later became a winery. In addition to the winery and vineyards, there is Bononia Estate Winery & Resort – a luxurious boutique hotel with 22 rooms, a modern restaurant with terraces and stunning views of the Danube River and the vineyards, an outdoor infinity pool with a wellness area, various tasting rooms and barrel rooms, a cigar bar, conference and event halls, along with many on-site activities. The façade of the building is completed with Baumit Integrated Thermal Insulation System Pro and a final coating NanoporTop K1.5 in color 0385. Exterior paint used – NanoporColor in colors 0385 and 0387. Bononia primarily produces high-quality white wines due to the terroir, but also offers light and delicate red wines. Its portfolio includes five brands: Gomotartzi, ISTAR, Oh La La, Bononia Estate, and First Vintage, all of which have received awards from international wine competitions. The winery operates with a fully closed production cycle, offering its partners quality control, flexibility, consistency, and long-term cooperation.
