Abbot Palace
The facades, reconstructed into the appearance of the Baroque reconstruction of the palace in the 18th century, illustrate the excellent work of the architect, building contractor and the producer of used materials. Through their design, the exterior surfaces faithfully match the period appearance.

The Baroque Abbot Palace of the Žďár Monastery in Brno’s Zelný trh has found new life. The design and implementation team was able to reconcile the requirements of current legislation and the limits of monument care with attractive contemporary use. The facades of the inner courtyard, where the historical finishes of the surfaces and galleries meet with the contemporary vertical garden and solid glass elements, create the unique atmosphere of the palace courtyard.
