Parvi Cibulka

The reconstruction of an industrial building in the attractive Košíře neighbourhood of Prague resulted in a conversion to a residential function. The façade architecture is executed with the utmost respect to the original appearance of the building. The authors maintain the industrial character, shifting it successfully to residential aesthetics at the same time. The combination of facing masonry and plaster is chosen purposefully and appears to be a sensible compromise under the current requirements for building physics. The details of façades in the texture of surfaces and the profiling of window panels testify to the high quality of architectural work.
