Dodatkowa informacja
Like the Basilica of St. Mary and the Row of Canons, the palace was built in the second half of the 18th century as a U-shaped palace, developed on 3 levels and crowned by a broken roof, specific to the Austrian Baroque. Although initially the Italian architect Giovanni Battista Ricca was appointed to this role, lately the Austrian architect Franz Anton Hillebrandt (1719 - 1797) took over the management of the site. On the main façade stands the central resalit, symmetrically decorated with pilasters finished in Ionic capitals, garlands and folds, all highlighting, with a unique distinction, the access doors to the interior and the windows on the first floor, resalit finished in the upper part in a triangular pediment.
