FH Velvary

The reconstruction of the residential house in Velvary was appreciated by the jury mainly as an example worth following for others. The flaw in renovated buildings of the same type, numerous in the Czech Republic, consists mainly in the thinking of the investor, when only practicality is preferred. In this implementation, the aesthetics of the building was not left aside, which is more than praiseworthy. From the neglected building, suffering from inappropriate interventions, the investor resurrected a beautiful house. Another, equally important positive is the fact that the architect was not attempting for a new formation at any cost, but that it was enough to restore the original form of the façade. How simple! If only majority of investors of similar reconstructions opted for this approach. The original quality of architecture in the Czech developments could be restored.
