A dark colour facade is meant to visually „slim down“ the structures just like black clothes do for a person. The desired affect was one of buildings shrinking with the descending dusk and then eventually disappearing into the night.

Tin used for roofs of individual houses,the walls are insulated and plastered. Three different sizes grains of Baumit CreativTop modeling decorative plaster were used for building facades: Max (4.0 mm), Fine (1.0 mm), Pearl (0.5 mm). The plaster of 1.0 and 0.5 mm fractions provided a very smooth angular structure, while the plaster of 4 mm fractions was used for the rest of the façade - the rough structure obtained here.
