Ecole Alain Fournier

The project is part of an urban project with the creation of an urban green network based on existing public spaces. The nursery extension and restoration are seen as the continuity of these green “strips” spreading around the nursery school. The facades have a brick base, while the floors receive an ITE and a paint finish. The new extensions are entirely made of brick, establishing a balanced dialogue with the existing. The brick, with its scale and nuanced hue, characterizes the school as a domestic and sustainable establishment. Its design allows for play of shadows and reliefs, adding a variety of textures to the facades.
